Open thread: Sunday morning talking heads

Bad news and worse news for tea partiers. The bad news: It’s nearly wall-to-wall Christiepalooza on the Sunday shows this morning, with the GOP establishment’s newly crowned champion tapped as the featured guest on “Meet the Press,” “This Week,” “Face the Nation,” and “Fox News Sunday.” (In fact, he’s the only guest scheduled for FNS.) If you didn’t get enough rhetoric this week about Washington being broken, compromising with Democrats to “get things done,” and showing up in minority communities long before election day to win their votes, today’s your lucky day. It’s worth watching Wallace interview him on FNS if for no other reason than that there’ll probably be a question about Rand Paul’s latest dig at him. Time for this feud to move back to the front burner.

The worse news: “State of the Union,” the only show among the big five on which Christie won’t appear, will feature … Lindsey Graham instead. The full line-up is at Politico.
