Twenty-four hours after the end of Mubarak’s 30-year reign, the “foreign policy candidate” in the field gets the podium at CPAC. Gooooooood timing. Other speakers have run away from this subject, partly because fiscal issues are the name of the game this year and partly, I assume, because they’re as reluctant to commit to an uncertain outcome in Egypt as Obama is (or was). That’s not the ‘Stache’s style, and even if it was, he can’t afford to hedge on the sine qua non of his candidacy. Prepare for some meat, my friends — served red.
