New McMahon ad: Just a reminder -- Dick Blumenthal's a moron when it comes to job creation

To cleanse the palate, not one, not two, but three tasty campaign ads via Jim Geraghty, the Family Research Council, and Ben Smith, respectively. If you read this post a few days ago, you already know the full background on the Blumenthal spot; the only thing I’d change here is maybe tacking this immortal clip from one of my all-time favorite movies onto the end. As for the second ad, there’s not much to say except that it’s exactly, but exactly, the sort of thing I had in mind the other day when I said that O’Donnell should try humor to grab voters’ attention and get them on her side. Maybe the FRC will let her adapt this one? It’s perfect.

The third spot is tossed in here because it may well be the only ad of this entire small-government fiscally conservative election cycle to tout a candidate’s ability to deliver … federal pork. And of course, it’s made possible thanks to the cowardice of the Senate Republican caucus that refused to strip Murkowski of her seniority on the all-important Energy committee, thus giving her a huge selling point with voters vis-a-vis Joe Miller. Excellent work, guys. Way to sandbag a Republican nominee.
