I wanted to sex up the headline by saying they “clashed” or “argued,” but … it just ain’t so. They’re kind of chummy, actually, which is fascinating to watch in its own way but a letdown for anyone who was expecting a reprise of Stewart vs. Tucker Carlson on “Crossfire.” I wonder what they could have been commiserating about off-camera to put them in such a genial mood. Hmmmm.
