Just passing along the info from lefty site TrueSlant. I’m frankly shocked to think they’d accuse our serially lying VP of lying serially.
As Emil points out, August 17, the day that Biden visited, was several days after fighting stopped in Georgia, and the BBC’s timeline (as well as several others I checked, many of which don’t even extend to the 17th) indicates nothing that would indicate much fighter jet activity or artillery fire. That’s not to say that there wasn’t a jet here and a round fired there, but as the photo indicates, it wasn’t much of a claim to bravery under fire. But we need to wait for Sinbad, I think, before we can really pass judgment on Biden’s claim. And give the guy a break, he’s probably just trying to impress the hot post-Soviet women.
Our posts still had Russians in Georgia as of July 17 and even later, so Greasy Joe’s war stories aren’t impossible, just … improbable. Exit question: Any willingness to grant him the benefit of the doubt as VP? I’m guessing … no.
