I figured I’d spare you the awkward Mitt/McCain presser, where all the right things were awkwardly said and all the old differences awkwardly papered over. Here’s Huck reacting afterwards on Cavuto instead, resisting mightily the urge to attack Romney and not really succeeding, while also comparing himself to Reagan circa 1976 as the insurgent conservative choice against the presumptive nominee. Exit question: Remind me again, when did Reagan apply the golden rule and a principle of morally-obligated wealth redistribution as the “true conservative” solution to the Soviet Union?
