It’ll be spun the same way as Screw Them’s comment too, namely, that it’s not a death wish per se, merely a wish that the critics would walk a mile in war reporters’ shoes before casting stones. Which brings us to our exit question: If that’s what it’s about, why the gleeful emphasis in both cases on walking that mile without any security to protect them from killers?
