He's actually doing a travelogue series called Conan O'Brien Must Go, and Ireland is one of the countries on his itinerary. While there, the producers of Ros na Rún -- the longest running Irish-language soap opera ever, if not all TV programs -- arranged the cameo. If you poke around Instagram and YT, you'll see some funny and self-deprecating looks behind the scenes of him being coached on his dialogue as Gaeilge.

I'm a fan of the TV series, and the barman is my favorite character. Hope this gives you a laugh or two.
