Daily Kos
“Yes, it may be a fake pregnancy suit, but we have no evidence of that, other than self-serving testimony of Alaska Airlines crew claiming that they had no idea Palin was pregnant (if they’d had any idea, they should have kept her off the flight).”

I’m sure this will be the end of that then. /sarc

Which is approaching zero anyway, so why hold back?
jackmac on September 1, 2008 at 8:12 AM
Lots of updates there……. did I miss the apology?
Wait, what am I saying? The left is never to be held responsible for their actions. Silly me.
Jim708 on September 1, 2008 at 8:12 AM
They have obviously never heard of Occam’s razor.

As they would say about the Silky Pony – caught with their pants down!!
Stupid? No. They look and are uncredible. Tabloid trash.

My favourite line,
And being a single guy, I was unaware that pregnant women were not allowed to fly. Gotta love them Dems, keepin em barefoot and in the kitchen while carrying junior. /sarc off
Jim708 on September 1, 2008 at 8:17 AM
So they admit they were “pushing [a] rumor,” without evidence, in the first place.
Apology? Anyone? Bueller?
inviolet on September 1, 2008 at 8:18 AM
No. You are just stupid. Wise up, jackasses.
Dr.Cwac.Cwac on September 1, 2008 at 8:19 AM
I didn’t see an apology or even an unequivocal admission of being wrong. The reason the writer recommends dropping the issue is because it’s making them look stupid – at least until “the photo is debunked”…
I knew the Palin pick would shake things up, but these clowns are really scared of her. The flailing is kind of pathetic.

How long before we see People for Palin Pregnancy Truth?

Feh. Read the comments. The majority of Kos Kidz aren’t letting this die.
flipflop on September 1, 2008 at 8:25 AM
doh!
TheCulturalist on September 1, 2008 at 8:25 AM
I agree with flipflop. I didn’t see anywhere in the comments that anyone there thinks it’s over.
NoFanofLibs on September 1, 2008 at 8:26 AM
Until the photo is debunked? Debunked?
How about until the rumor is proven to be anything other than false. Innocent until proven guilty?
No wonder there were multiple shooters on the grassey knoll, Bush/Rove Weather Machine, and the washington brain control rays.
These folks will believe anything…. without any proof or reason.

“Yes.” LOLOL Rocket scientists they’re not. It’s clear the nuts have run away with the meme, and there are a couple people trying in vain to reign them in.
Newest meme: “the daughter was wearing a wedding ring on stage.”
I love watching the nuts.
hoosiermama on September 1, 2008 at 8:28 AM
Comedy gold. Who thinks of this stuff?
Anton on September 1, 2008 at 8:34 AM
Seriously…if Kos cares at all about his credibility, he’d shut the discussion down and ban anyone who continues to bring it up. But he’ll only do that when a Dembot is the target…witness his handling of the Edwards/Hunter affair.
flipflop on September 1, 2008 at 8:38 AM
More indisputable evidence that liberalism is a mental disease…and a serious one to boot!
stonemeister on September 1, 2008 at 8:40 AM
Nonsense Kos….if you read this “keep firing” when even the NYT says you are being ugly it means you just need to push harder because you are on the right path.
GO SARAH!
sven10077 on September 1, 2008 at 8:40 AM
From KOS website:
Typical Politburo response. If you screw up, just delete the evidence (although I’m not sure if they’re voting yes because the smear is helping, or yes because they want it deleted).
Buy Danish on September 1, 2008 at 8:46 AM
such ambiguity of wording is a gem of authoritarian minded types.
Make sure what the fools vote on means what we want it to mean.
sven10077 on September 1, 2008 at 8:48 AM
If it wasn’t for the fact that a teenage girl is being called fat, I would laugh my a$$ off. They have wasted how many days chasing a rumor instead of actually doing opposition research? And blaming it Karl Rove. Our Magnificent Ba$stard strikes again!
Sue on September 1, 2008 at 8:48 AM
Man, even in small doses that level of crazy can be toxic. My personal favorite:
They could make stronger case that Palin outed Valerie Plame. Oh no! Did I type that out loud?
You ever get the feeling that the KosKiddies are like a dog with whom who you are faking throwing a ball to fetch? They go running all over with their tongues hanging out never having a clue that what they seek isn’t there at all. The only thing that would make this better is if Palin and her daughter concocted this wild goose chase to discredit the Libtards.
trubble on September 1, 2008 at 8:55 AM
classic line I was always tempted to think of them as a perpetual 18 month old stuck in a loop playing peek-a-boo with a parent that was REALLY trying to hide….but I digress…..
sven10077 on September 1, 2008 at 9:05 AM
Good point. That way they can always claim that they had an 100% approval rating for whatever decisions they make.

More from the Ridiculous Accusation Closet:
Barack Obama isn’t really black! He’s had an experimental procedure ala Robert Downey Jr to change his skin tone!
And Biden isn’t really a man. He’s a bunch of aliens, ala Eddie Murphy in “Meet Dave“.
And Keith Olbermann isn’t really a human. He’s a puppet controlled by Balok.

I am surprised at how surprised I can still get by this stuff – fake pregnancy suit?!
major john on September 1, 2008 at 9:30 AM
I betting 95% of them never even heard of a razor never mind Occam’s.
jmarcure on September 1, 2008 at 9:35 AM
The nutroots continue, in earnest, to redefine idiocy, don’t they?
Corky on September 1, 2008 at 9:44 AM
Anyone know who this “Rick Rydell” guy is? I just heard him on LA radio 790 and it sounded like he was kinda trashing Palin.
TheCulturalist on September 1, 2008 at 9:57 AM
The “rumor” has already hit national radio and some major papers. They cover their a$$ by saying rumors involving her pregnancy and daughter. They don’t say only a total whacko believes this junk.
HA was ahead of the curve on this. However, other blogs wasted time attacking her, defending the people attacking her, before they defended her. Day late and a dollar short, wingnuts.
Blake on September 1, 2008 at 9:59 AM
Ace has alot more on this, this morning.
andycanuck on September 1, 2008 at 10:01 AM
I hope the story of the scumbaggedness of the DailyKos psychos gets BIG play. It will drive voters right to Sarah Palin and McCain’s side!!
Warner Todd Huston on September 1, 2008 at 10:08 AM
Thanks for getting this in. I stay away from that piss farm to avoid disease, but I followed AP’s link and did some trolling with this repeated theme:
Thanks for being you, girls. This is the kind of issue that might finally inspire the apolitical center to look inside your sewer and see the kind of soulless vermin that supports Obama and the far left.
And their comments even now are running over 90% in favor of the craziest versions of every Palin smear. They are a special kind of sick.
Jaibones on September 1, 2008 at 10:10 AM
No. We knew it was a load of (desperation) cwap from the get-go.
Great analogy.

“Yes, it may be a fake Moon Landing, but we have no evidence of that, other than self-serving testimony of some guys that said they worked for NASA claiming that they had no idea we landed on the Moon(if they’d had any idea, they should have gotten some t-shirts or something).”

simple logic:

silky edwards did not have an affair
sarha palin did not have her son

i think you are supposed to answer once for each question.
clear now?
TheCulturalist on September 1, 2008 at 11:53 AM
They are clearly not over it – in fact they are ratcheting up the rumors.
By all means, they should keep it up – it won’t play well in Peoria.

Actually, Daily Kos manages to look stupid no matter what they’re doing…
landlines on September 1, 2008 at 12:01 PM
Good Lord, don’t any of these kids pay attention in health class? I guess spending all of that time in mommy’s basement means that they don’t get to see too many teenage girls with their muffin tops. I’d better have a talk with my 14 year old as she and half of her friends look pregnant too – it’s called PUBERTY boys…
pcbedamned on September 1, 2008 at 12:09 PM
No, no, no, keep it up, KOStards!
Keep stoking these insanely stupid attacks! If there ever was a group of people with such an amazing set of instincts for how to blow an election, it’s these nitwits. First they help select a screamingly corrupt, inexperienced naif for their candidate – Hillary has more baggage than a Saudi prince (not to mention some Saudi princes in her baggage), but she’d have a better shot of beating McCain. Then they start these attacks on Palin that are going to backfire horribly. They’re actually hurt by Palin’s main disadvantage – right now most people don’t know her and see her as a person first and a candidate second. Such low, stupid, and brazenly hateful attacks expose the hard left for what they really are – a bunch of misogynistic throwbacks who thinks Mrs. Palin should be back home, barefoot and
pregnantaborting babies, not out doing stuff like running governments.ErikTheRed on September 1, 2008 at 12:18 PM
