That a senior member and one of the highest-ranking elected officials in the state - in fact, the chief law enforcement officer of Michigan - cannot attend her own party's convention because of the viciousness of the anti-Semites they have enabled.
Dana Nessel would seem to tick off all the prescribed woke boxes, but then there's that teensy problem of 'Jew' and Israel.'
It didn't use to be a problem, and I guess it wasn't when the people of Michigan elected her.

The University of Michigan Board of Regents consists of eight members elected statewide to eight-year terms.
This is why the sitting attorney general of the state will not attend her own party's state convention.

“I will speak as a member of the Democratic Party here in Michigan, that some things have changed,” she said. “This cannot continue, and the fact of the matter is, we have to be able to be a society where we can have intelligent discourse and debate about ideas without people being threatened, and certainly without people carrying out those threats.”
Nessel’s remarks come as anti-Israel sentiment in the Democratic Party is burning white hot, and that is especially the case in the Wolverine State where left-wing Muslim bomb-thrower Abdul El-Sayed has opened up a sizable lead on establishment Rep. Haley Stevens in the race to be the party’s U.S. Senate nominee.
This entire situation is untenable, and what a frightened bunch of geese the elected Democratic hierarchy is. Not one of them, but John Fetterman has the courage to call these anti-American, debased, deranged animals out for what they are and the danger they represent.
But American Jews themselves have to vote instead of just pissing and moaning about how mean the new potty-mouthed kids are.
