Hamas Supporter Now Leading in the Polling for NYC Mayor

Wowsahs.

What a difference ten days and the promise of rent freezes make when you've got a cute face, huh?

Zohran Mamdani, the Socialist and Hamas-supporting New York Assembly member running in the Democratic primary for New York City mayor (I introduced you to him here), has pulled into the lead.

Over former Governor Andrew Cuomo, no less.

Zohran Mamdani, the young democratic socialist who has been rising in the mayor’s race, is now ahead of Andrew Cuomo with just two weeks until the Democratic primary, a new poll reviewed in full by POLITICO found.

The survey, conducted by Public Policy Polling for Democrat Justin Brannan’s city comptroller campaign, found Mamdani beating Cuomo 35 percent to 31 percent — a difference that is narrowly within the 4.1 percent margin of error.

Cuomo has been the constant frontrunner since his March 1 entrance into the race to oust Mayor Eric Adams, with most publicly released polls showing him with comfortable leads. This new survey, which did not include a ranked-choice voting simulation, stands to signal a re-ordering of the highly unusual contest ahead of the June 24 election.

The poll of 573 likely Democratic voters was conducted between June 6 and June 7 — after nine candidates faced off in the first televised debate. The following day, June 5, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez endorsed Mamdani, lending political star power to his campaign.

Oh, I see he received the coveted AOC endorsement.

Very nice.

That should cement his progressive credentials, but he wasn't shy about who his role models were during the debate.

I mean, check out his answer as far as 'most effective Democrat in America.'

This one is a horrifying knee-slapper.

I feel as if a Sadiq Khan clone is running, and we all know how terrific that's been for London.

Who better to chill out a situation? Someone local to the community, perhaps trained in de-escalation techniques or...?

[CUE: ominous music] A man with a gun?

People in the comments are pointing out that NYC subways already serve as homeless shelters and that is not working out well for anyone.

It's also an awfully convenient excuse to turn neighborhoods into closed cultural barrios who exercise their own social justice within their confines

No-go zones, such as the two of them appear to be advocating for during their back-and-forth, are un-American. We don't do those here.

But Mamdani's really quite anti-cop.

Mamdani could also be seen as anti-Jew thanks to his ardent support of the BDS movement and tepid acknowledgment of Israel's right to exist (you'll notice I didn't say 'endorsement'), although he and his team are savvy enough to slide around the issue.

Far-left mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani has said Cornell Tech on Roosevelt Island should be boycotted because of its partnership with an Israel-based school — a stance blasted as “blatant antisemitism.’’

“There are ways to make what seems to be an international battle into a local one,” the Democratic socialist said on a “Talking Palestine” podcast with Sumaya Awad shortly after getting elected to the state assembly in 2020.

“If you were to look at the lens of BDS [Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions] and how it applies here in New York City, you would say that Cornell-Technion is something you would be talking about,” Mamdani said of the Roosevelt Island college, which is partnered with Technion University in Israel and is also referred to as the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute.

“Technion University is an Israeli University that has helped to develop a lot of weapons technology used by the IDF [Israel Defense Force],” said Mamdani, as he voiced support for economic boycotts against Israel.

Mamdani — who also recounted how he co-founded the Students for Justice in Palestine chapter at Bowdoin College when he attended the school — said a boycott campaign would scrutinize any government funds that Cornell-Technion received.

Mamdani is awfully proud of founding that SJP chapter and often appears at Palestinian protest rallies at NYC universities like Columbia - where his father is a professor - in support of their rabblerousing and intimidation efforts.

The national parent SJP organization is under investigation by the House Oversight Committee for being part of a Hamas fundraising network as well as Congress looking into October 7, 2023 ties.

They seem to be a delightful group dedicated to love, happiness, and the world in pieces.

How any Jew in that city could vote for this man is beyond me, but, again, there are inexplicable lemmings in this world who will march smiling while they encourage others to their doom.

You have to wonder if the so-called 'Jews' in this Mamdani campaign spot are actually Jewish or if they are members of that deviant group 'Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP).'

It might well be that they are, because, as all things go with these Palestinian terrorist sympathizers, every last one of them is connected, and these purported 'Jews' are no different.

JVP is funded by none other than the American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), which is the parent organization of? [drumroll, please]

Oh, hello. Snek met tail.

And this snek in the grass could be the next mayor of the largest city in the United States.

His Syrian wife is an artist - I forgot to mention that.

I'm sure they're a lovely couple.

The Free Press breaks down several ways Mamdani could actually pull this off, even if he doesn't emerge victorious in the labyrinthine 'ranked choice' voting process of the city's Democratic primary.

Mamdani is the real-life Sword of Damocles hanging over a city on the edge.

The current mayor is a clown, and the erstwhile Democratic front-runner looks like a clown, which isn't helping anything.

So if there is a rational, silent Democrat majority left somewhere in the bowels of that hellhole, now would be the time to show yourselves for a brief second to save yourselves and what's left of the city.

Just sayin'.

I mean - if you want to be saved.
