As the old saying goes, “timing is everything” and boy, oh, boy, if the Department of Justice and mainstream media didn’t have their watches set and synchronized today.

Rep James Comer had set the stage earlier this week, when he asked the DoJ to hold off on any possible Hunter Biden indictment until today. That was when he and his committee planned to release the evidence they’d gathered so far in their Biden crime family investigation.

As the Department of Justice’s federal investigation into any alleged misdeeds by Hunter Biden appears to be drawing to a close, House Republicans are trying to get ahead of the curve with their own investigation.

In an appearance on Fox News Sunday morning, Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., chair of the House Oversight Committee, made a plea to federal investigators about any possible charges this week.

“My message to the Department of Justice is very loud and clear. Do not indict Hunter Biden before Wednesday,” Comer said.

Wednesday is when GOP lawmakers plan to reveal evidence they’ve been pouring over for months – prominently some suspicious activity reports from bank accounts and interviews from former business partners – they say implicate both Hunter Biden and his father in a “pay for play scheme” with an unknown foreign national.

What I thought at the time was that there was no frickin’ way the DoJ was going to let Comer get a leg up on them, so I figured there’d be at least some flashy movement by last night.

To my utter astonishment, I was wrong. Not a peep of scuzzy Hunter anything escaped DoJ window seals. In fact, they joked me and went in an entirely different direction.

They literally went after the pudgy, unlikeable scamp from New York and scooped his pathetic larper butt up in a big, old show this morning.

Gaze upon the mastermind of mendacity, that pusillanimous portrait of political poltroonery. Release a sigh of “Thank God he’s off the streets” relief before you then wonder if the timing wasn’t at all…you know…suspicious.

What on earth might have been the impetus for such a ballyhooed arrest of an admittedly minor, junior congressman? (And remember, Ilhan Omar married her brother in blatant immigration fraud and was busy shifting campaign funds to her then-boyfriend as a married congresswoman, yet, no indictments, arrests, so…?) Could there have been an ulterior motive – an attempt to draw attention away from or cover for something else happening at the ti…oh, hang on.

How nice of Rep Comer to let them know when most opportune to arrest to the boyish-looking scoundrel.

Timing is everything.

The Department of Justice coincidentally decided to arrest New York GOP Rep. George Santos on money laundering and other charges on Wednesday at the same time House Republicans held a press conference revealing damaging evidence about the Biden family’s corrupt, foreign business ventures.

…It’s amazing how the arrest of Santos came at the exact same moment Republicans on the House Oversight Committee held a press conference documenting the Biden family’s overseas business ventures. Announced earlier this week, Wednesday morning’s presser revealed bank records showing how the Bidens and their associates created a network of more than 20 companies and received “at least $10 million … from foreign nationals’ and their related companies.”

The Republicans were having a press conference? About the Biden crime family? They have the goods on them and were telling everybody what they were?

Do tell…and do try to prove it.

I couldn’t find it anywhere. But I did find out the Westminster Dog Show finished up last night.

Who knew? That’s news.

Houston, I don’t think we have a problem as far as the Biden crime family evidence reveal goes. The mainstream media – including CSpan and ilk – have the story covered, like with a cloth.

I love the way Prof Turley put it this morning, and I sadly have to disagree on one aspect of it.

The media would have to be willing to ask for a luggage tag proving the trunk with Hunter’s heads belonged to POTATUS. They’re not asking for jack. The rotten-to-the-core media establishment in this country is so invested now, video evidence of a trunk filled with heads would never see the light of day.

And I’d be careful if I’d taken the pictures or found the trunk.

Ask the girl who found Ashley Biden’s diary in the abandoned apartment.

Come to think of it, I hope Tucker has a food tester.
