In a report that just broke on Fox digital, the Air Force is taking “full responsibility” for the unauthorized release of LtCol Jennifer-Ruth Green’s personal military records, according to Indiana Representatives Jim Banks and Larry Buchson.
“On yesterday’s call, the Air Force took full responsibility for improperly releasing Lt. Col. Green’s confidential personnel records to an opposition research firm just weeks before the midterm election. Lt. Gen. Davis informed us that the leaker has been identified and will be held accountable.”
The congressmen also stated that there is an investigation underway to determine “whether the leaker had a political or financial motive” or had an accomplice in the release of Green’s records.
This is unconscionable. What a black eye for the Air Force, and I hope they hunt these people down FAST. For all the abuse LtCol Green received when the story broke (Isn’t it always amazing how the victim of illegal, filthy Democratic tricks is somehow the bad guy?)…
The falsehood being pushed by @repmrvan, @Politico, & parroted by irresponsible outlets like @nwi, begins to unravel. @FoxNews reported that the Air Force confirmed they wouldn't release my confidential personnel files & didn't release them through FOIA. https://t.co/jZ9aF3MpsT pic.twitter.com/m9kaK3WaDs

…this is going to infuriate her further, as it should any servicemember, regardless of your political affiliation. Two weeks ago, I wrote asking how – if Politico themselves didn’t have a FOIA request and signed authorization from Green herself – did they get these records? Well, I guess we know how.
…”The Air Force improperly affected a competitive House race and must provide transparency before election day,” Banks and Bucshon said. “We are calling on the Air Force to publicly take responsibility for mishandling Lt. Col. Green’s service records. Additionally, before the midterm election, the Air Force should release any information it has regarding the financial relationship between the [Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee] and the opposition research firm that sent confidential records to Politico’s Adam Wren to smear a servicemember who happens to be running for public office.”
It’s no wonder they’re going after her. She’s even called out the Congressional Black Caucus for endorsing the white incumbent while ignoring the suffering of the folks in her depressed IN-01 (Gary, IN) district during his tenure…
A third of people in Gary, Indiana, live below the poverty line. There is a line a mile and a half long outside my campaign headquarters of people who need to get to the food pantry. That is the America @TheBlackCaucus wants for Black people by supporting my Democrat opponent. pic.twitter.com/e1GDDbBoAB

…and she has put this Rep Mrvan on the ropes.
GOP diversity: Jennifer-Ruth Green closes in on Indiana House seat
…After a lunchtime roundtable with Indiana Sen. Todd Young and Utah Rep. Burgess Owens, Republican congressional candidate Jennifer-Ruth Green suggested she appreciated “serving alongside my peers.”
“Not my peers,” she quickly corrected. “I misspoke.”
Ms. Green isn’t their congressional colleague yet, but her slip might not be all that premature.
Democrats have represented this industrial, union-friendly corner of northwest Indiana in Congress for nearly a century. But Democratic Rep. Frank Mrvan’s reelection bid is in question as the party faces headwinds around the United States this year, buffeted by President Joe Biden’s low approval ratings and high inflation.
…Republicans say they’re breaking party records for diversity, with 80 women who are House incumbents or candidates on midterm ballots nationwide. The GOP also has 28 Black nominees, 33 Hispanic Americans, 13 Asian Americans, and three American Indians running, according to the National Republican Campaign Committee, the party’s House campaign arm.
And, of the 74 districts the committee is targeting for victory, 24 GOP candidates are military veterans. In all, 125 Republican House incumbents and challengers say they have military experience, compared to 61 Democrats, according to the Pew Research Center.
…But she added, “If I was who I was without any thoughtful leadership or character attached to it, I would not be effective in this role.”
I have over ten volunteers on my campaign who said they have voted Democrat their whole life but are going to vote for me.
I talk to people like that all over northwest Indiana every single day who say they are sick of the Biden/Pelosi agenda. #IN01 pic.twitter.com/EIxt8aLfEt

They – and their liberal media partners, like Politico – are desperate to stop the hemorrhaging, and are so craven, they will break any law or defile any norm to do so. This is also another strike against today’s military – someone, be it an airman or a GS worker in an office – sold a servicemember out, and for what? Money? Political disagreement? Because they were bored? What in the Sam Hell is going on?
It’s too disgusting for words.
