Emmanuel Cleaver won't let Tea Party people take us back to segregation and no women's rights

Emmanuel Cleaver recounting a story of a man who told him at a health care protest he wanted his country back.

“So I turn and I say, ‘well you can’t have it. You can’t have it. You can’t have it. And the reason is we’re not going back. You can’t have it back. We’re not going back to a day when we were segregated. We’re not going back to a day when women were considered secondary citizens. We’re not going back. No, you can’t have it back.”

Emmanuel Cleaver on the psycho of liberal persuasion and anti-capitalist protest who literally firebombed his office:

“Today, our thoughts should not dwell on a small incident that hurt no one and caused very minor property damage,” Cleaver’s statement read.

“The Congressional Black Caucus strongly condemns this type of vandalism targeted at Congressman Cleaver, and denounces any act of violence towards members of Congress,” read a statement released by the CBC’s current chair, Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-OH). “This type of abhorrent behavior is the most ineffective means of voicing discontent or disagreement.”

Well, just so we know where the danger truly lies.
