Good news: Amendment 66 tax hike goes down hard in Colorado

Financed with $10 million in out-of-state money, taxpayer rights advocates were majorly outgunned. Our own buddy Kelly Maher was working long, long days on this and feeling pretty defeated about a month ago. So much money spent against taxpayer interests, so many new Coloradans who came from California and were seemingly determined to turn the Rocky Mountain State into another failed liberal paradise.

And yet:

It was sold as an education tax hike “for the children,” of course. And yet, it seems to be going 63-37 as of now, with disappointing showings in both Denver and Boulder?

Colorado has momentarily put the brakes on becoming the new California.
