It turns out the notion that “Love Trumps Hate” had a whole lot more violence involved in it than we were led to believe.

President Obama, Secretary Clinton, Senator Sanders, Senator Reid and Senator Warren need to engage the anti-Trump protesters vandalizing the streets of Democratic Party-controlled cities and tell them to stop. Now.

We’ve been told over the past election cycle that Hillary Clinton was virtually a born leader who was more prepared to lead this nation than any other American in history. Where is she?

We’ve been told that President Obama is a transcendent figure who speaks for generational and demographic groups that have felt voiceless for our country’s entire existence. Why is he invisible?

We’ve been told that Sanders and Warren and Reid represent the down-trodden and exploited masses who feel crushed by the results of this election and are searching for some level of positive hope in the despair of post-#ImWithHer depression. Where are they?

It’s called leadership.

Many of the protests could end with just a few phone calls to the community organizer groups closely affiliated with Obama, Clinton and the Democrats. Just look at the professionally printed signs courtesy of ANSWER Coalition:

Who is the ANSWER Coalition? Some of the founding members spun off from the socialist Workers World Party back in the Bush Administration as an anti-war protest group which focused on the plight of Arab Muslims in the West Bank.

The Daily Caller has a breakdown on the extent of their involvement organizing the not-so-spontaneous protests against last week’s election. Are we to believe that Obama or Clinton or Podesta or Sanders can’t pick up the phone and tell the socialist agitators at ANSWER to back off? Of course they can.

But it goes deeper than just the professional community organizers coordinating these protests.

For months, Obama, Clinton, Sanders, Warren, Pelosi and the entire elite power structure of the Democratic Party (as well as a few Republicans) have been warning the American public that Donald Trump was the second coming of Adolph Hitler. They guaranteed the Democrat grass roots that his supporters were “deplorbale” brown shirts ready to ring 1930’s style fascism to America.

These histrionic warnings were a calculated political strategy. Rather than paint a positive vision for America under a proposed President Hillary Clinton, the decision was made to terrify voters about the prospects of the dark and evil life imagined under President Donald Trump.

Voters who only know what they know from SNL or The Daily Show or a Clinton rally starring Jay Z woke up last Wednesday thinking the Nazi’s took over their country. If you thought that, you might go protest somewhere too.

Sanders didn’t help much either. In fact, the socialist-turned-Democrat-turned-back-to-socialist Senator threw more gasoline on the fire Sunday by openly questioning the validity of the electoral college:

“We may want to take a look at the whole Electoral College, which is seating a man for president who didn’t get the most votes. This is something we need a serious discussion on. This campaign revolved around 15 states of the country, right? Battleground states. My state of Vermont is a strong Democratic state; no one paid attention. Wyoming is a Republican state; nobody paid attention to Wyoming. Is that a good way?”

Meanwhile, outgoing Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid provided what could be referred to as “incitement” from the Senate floor on Friday:

“The election of Donald Trump has emboldened the forces of hate and bigotry in America. White nationalists, Vladimir Putin and ISIS are celebrating Donald Trump’s victory, while innocent, law-abiding Americans are wracked with fear…”

“African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Muslim Americans, LGBT Americans and Asian Americans [..] children waking up in the middle of the night crying, terrified that Trump will take their parents away.”

“We as a nation must find a way to move forward without consigning those who Trump has threatened to the shadows. Their fear is entirely rational, because Donald Trump has talked openly about doing terrible things to them.”

“If this is going to be a time of healing, we must first put the responsibility for healing where it belongs: at the feet of Donald Trump, a sexual predator who lost the popular vote and fueled his campaign with bigotry and hate.”

tHwhy Trump Campaign Manager Kellyanne Conway was spot on when she told Chuck Todd on Meet the Press yesterday “it’s time really for President Obama and Secretary Clinton to say to these protesters, ‘This man is our president.’”

Sure, both Obama and Clinton made obligatory statements in the immediate aftermath of the election, but since then the violence and disruption of society has only increased. A full-throated condemnation of these protests is appropriate and long overdue.

So, where is it? Why aren’t they getting in front of these protests and calling for calm and allowing cooler heads to prevail?  Because our first community organizer president sees his political base represented on the streets of New York and Oakland. He recognizes that there is a direct benefit for his party and his agenda manifest by these protests.
