Newt Gingrich thinks Donald Trump is like a pirate.
Here’s what he said to Sean Hannity Wednesday night:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fw7gePoYiAI
“Look, in many ways Donald Trump is like a pirate. He’s outside the normal system, he gets things done, he’s bold, he’s actually like a figure out of a movie. In a lot of ways, my entire career has been a little bit like a pirate. I’ve taken on the establishment in both parties, [I’m] very prepared to fight in the media.”
He was talking about the prospect of being Trump’s running mate when he made the pirate comparison. He summed up his analysis with the question that is being debated on the highest floors of Trump Tower as we speak: “Do you really want a two-pirate ticket?”
So, Gingrich is basically arguing against himself as Trump’s running mate.
And he’s not alone:
How does Trump use BLM, immigration, global warming, etc. against Hillary if he chooses Newt?? MUST be false flag. https://t.co/blhSjpLkp3

Trump tells us he will announce his running mate Friday at 11:00 AM, in New York City.

Considering Gingrich’s very open and transparent speculation about his own inclusion on the ticket, it’s probably fair to believe that if it is Newt, no one has actually informed the former Speaker of the House.
No matter, the thought of Donald Trump as a pirate brings us to a much more important issue: What would Trump’s pirate name be?
