The Take Back Title IX Summer 2024 Bus Tour May be Coming Your Way

A cross-country bus tour meant to save women's sports may be coming to your town this summer. The “Take Back Title IX” bus is underway.

In April, Biden's Department of Education released new regulations for Title IX. They are set to be enacted in August. Included in the changes is that Title IX would forbid discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

In other words, it is a sop to transgender athletes. The Biden Department of Education wants to allow men to compete in women's sports. It is a war on women waged by the left.

Many women athletes are on board with the bus tour. Riley Gaines is an ambassador for the Our Bodies, Our Sports coalition. Gaines has established herself as an advocate for women's sports. She is a twelve-time All-American swimmer who competed against Lia Thomas as a college swimmer. Who better to tell the story of how men in sports are destroying women's sports?

Often women athletes are not told a trans athlete will be in their locker room. You'd think the least officials could do would be to give the women a heads-up that a man would be in the women's locker room.

“Title IX has been abolished as we once knew it. They took this 37-word legislation and rewrote it into almost a half-a-million-word rewrite,” says Riley Gaines.

“The Biden Administration has equated sex with gender identity. Men can take academic and athletic scholarships away from women, men can be housed in dorm rooms with women, men have full access to bathrooms, locker rooms, and changing spaces on college campuses,” Gaines explained.

Lily Williams, an athlete from Lancaster, says her team was not aware a transgender athlete was joining the team, let alone using the same locker room.

“Many of the females on my team were incredibly uncomfortable with the situation so uncomfortable that they would change in the porta potties outside the locker room,” Williams recalled.

The bus tour made a stop in Scranton, Pennsylvania on Wednesday. Was that location meant as a jab at President Biden, aka Scranton Joe? I hope so. He deserves some trolling for being complicit in this insanity. Biden and Kamala were in Philadelphia looking for black voter support.

The participants in the summer bus tour include former Olympians, athletes, coaches, and advocates who address the need to protect women's sports. Former Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos was a surprise guest speaker at the stop in Scranton on Wednesday. “We can win this, we must win this, and with your help, we will win this.”

DeVos is demonized by the Marxists at the Department of Education and in the Biden administration. She worked in the Trump administration and made important changes to protect women and men, too. She made it easier for college men to be heard when a female student accused them of sexual violence, for example. She supported giving the young men a chance to tell their side of the story.

The event was held at Lackawanna College, in the Student Union Gymnasium.

From the press release

From Scranton, the tour will travel coast to coast throughout June holding events throughout the nation. The tour bus will appear in Oklahoma, Montana, Nevada, Arizona, Nebraska, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, North Carolina, Washington D.C., Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Kansas, Texas, Wisconsin, and Maryland.

The tour builds on the momentum the Our Bodies, Our Sports coalition has built over the past two years standing up for women and girls — creating the largest, most ideologically diverse women’s movement of our time.

On the 52nd anniversary of Title IX (Sunday, June 23, 2024), the “Take Back Title IX” tour will roll into Washington, D.C., and will hold a press conference near the White House, followed by a rally event to commemorate the final annual celebration of the landmark sex equality law before the Biden administration’s unlawful rewrite upends Title IX as we have always known it. The new regulations strip away all sex-based protections in education, undermine women’s rights, and require schools to allow males to self-identify in women’s spaces, opportunities, and athletics.
