One truth in President Biden's lifelong career in politics is that he is a gaffe machine. 

The White House is on clean-up duty regularly. If Biden is making a speech, or even some off-the-cuff remarks to the press on his way to board Marine One, Biden usually says something that needs to be nuanced or corrected. Those in charge of the official White House transcripts are working diligently these days to make corrections. 

Most people aren't aware that the White House transcripts are corrected in favor of the president. It happens in all administrations but more so during the Biden administration. Because, Biden.

A whopping nine corrections have been made to the transcript of Biden's speech at the NAACP event in Detroit on Sunday.

It was a campaign event with the NAACP. Biden is pandering big time for black votes. Black men, in particular, are moving away from Biden. Black women seem to be holding on to supporting Biden, likely because Kamala Harris is the vice president. If Biden wins re-election and isn't able to finish his second term in office, Kamala would become the first woman president of the United States. I can't tell you how strongly I am against that happening. It cannot happen. 

After delivering a 19-minute speech at Morehouse College's commencement, Biden traveled to Detroit to speak to the NAACP. The NAACP Detroit Branch's 69th annual Fight for Freedom Fund Dinner was a campaign event for Biden. Biden was presented with a lifetime achievement. He began his remarks by saying the first organization he joined was the NAACP. Color me skeptical. Biden was best buddies in the Senate with the likes of Senator Robert Byrd, a former leader of the KKK in West Virginia. Biden delivered a eulogy at Byrd's funeral. Joe Biden's racism is frequently on display even now.

The NAACP leader who introduced Biden on Sunday, by the way, Rev. Wendell Anthony, was previously criticized by the Anti-Defamation League for inviting Louis Farrakhan to speak at his church. Farrakhan called Jews "satanic." Farrakhan spoke at his church at least three times in 2005, 2013, and 2015. Just move along, nothing to see here.

Anyway, Biden made both factual and pronunciation errors. He told a story about being vice president during the pandemic and President Obama sending him to Detroit to take care of things there. That was ridiculous, of course. That claim was soon debunked with the facts - Biden went to Detroit to meet with representatives from the auto industry during the recession. The White House fixed that craziness by crossing out "pandemic" and replacing it with "recession." 

Mere moments later, Biden told the NAACP he was “humbled to receive this organization.” In the transcript, the White House crossed out “organization” and corrected it with “award.”

The comical line, “We’re cracking down on corporate landlords who keep rents down,” was changed to, “We’re cracking down on corporate landlords to keep rents down,” while another unfortunate sentence describing those who took part in the Capitol riots as “irrectionists” was corrected to “insurrectionists.”

Yeesh.

Biden accused former President Trump of saying there would be "bloodshed" if he (Trump) loses in November. That was corrected to "bloodbath." 

Biden claimed that millions of families saved "$800,000" per year in insurance premiums. Biden went on to correct it to "8,000" per year. The White House corrected that number to $800.00. Biden took two shots at that and failed miserably. 

Smaller mistakes were also corrected in the transcript and included moments where Biden said “inspiresing” instead of “inspiring,” “have” instead of “are,” and “NAAC” instead of “NAACP.”

The smaller mistakes really aren't that big of a deal. But the others? Those are different. Biden has dementia. His memory and his ability to speak articulately and accurately are failing. It is happening before our eyes. It is happening before the eyes of the world, too. His feeble appearance and demeanor put America at risk. Our enemies are watching. 

Biden has no idea what he is saying. He is confused when he reads a teleprompter, as though he doesn't understand the words he is saying. He often reverts to angry old man Biden, whom I call Old Yeller, and that is what we saw with his commencement address at Morehouse College. He yelled as he told those young men that America hates them because of the color of their skin. Biden campaigned on bringing the country together but he has been the most divisive president in modern times. 

Everything Biden does is meant to help his re-election campaign. He brushes off half of Americans as MAGA Republicans and far-right extremists. He is supposed to be president of everyone, even the ones he doesn't like. 

The NAACP speech was Biden's second attack on Republicans Sunday. Biden is not up to the job as the leader of the free world. It's time for a change.
