Biden's Gut-Wrenching Verbal Gaffe in Front of Hostage's Mother

President Biden gave a speech at the White House on Monday. He denounced the ICC's arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and  Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

Biden said that Israel is not committing genocide, which must have been refreshing for the audience to hear, given Biden's aggressive pandering to Muslim Arab American voters in places like Dearborn, Michigan.

In the audience were the parents of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, an American being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza. Biden met with them at the White House. Hersh is one of five Americans still being held by Hamas. Hersh's mother, Rachel, acknowledged Biden's work to free the hostages but told him more has to be done.

When Biden delivered his speech, he acknowledged Hersh. The problem was that he spoke as though Hersh was in the audience. Then he had to correct himself.

Ugh. Imagine Hersh's mom's pain as she hears Biden bumble along, not even aware enough to deliver a speech at the White House. I can't imagine that she has any faith in Dementia Joe bringing home her beloved 23-year-old son.

Monday must have been particularly brutal for Rachel and others who are working on getting their loved ones released from Gaza. Many in the world were offering condolences to Iran for the death of its president, aka the Butcher of Tehran.

The Israel-hating United Nations held a moment of silence. Israel's U.N. Ambassador responded.

Hamas is a proxy for Iran. Iran is funding Hamas in the war.

The U.N. lowered its flag to half-mast.

Disgusting.

In the audience was Hunter Biden and his wife Melissa Cohen, who is Jewish.

Biden spoke about his "ironclad' commitment to Israel. He praised the contributions of Jewish people to the arts, science, and culture. The reality is that Biden continues to throw Israel and Netanyahu under the bus at every opportunity to curry favor with Muslim Arab American voters.

The State Department expressed its condolences. Yes, really.

The United States expresses its official condolences for the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, and other members of their delegation in a helicopter crash in northwest Iran.  As Iran selects a new president, we reaffirm our support for the Iranian people and their struggle for human rights and fundamental freedoms.

Later on Monday, Biden and others did some backtracking to show support for Israel.

'The ICC prosecutor’s application for arrest warrants against Israeli leaders is outrageous. And let me be clear: whatever this prosecutor might imply, there is no equivalence — none — between Israel and Hamas. We will always stand with Israel against threats to its security,' the president said in a statement.

The State Department was out with a longer statement that denounced the court for pairing Israel with Hamas.

'We reject the Prosecutor’s equivalence of Israel with Hamas. It is shameful. Hamas is a brutal terrorist organization that carried out the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust and is still holding dozens of innocent people hostage, including Americans,' Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement.

And White House spokesman John Kirby noted that 'we don't believe the ICC has any jurisdiction in the matter.'

Those same people slammed Netanyahu for how he is carrying out the war to destroy Hamas in previous days. They think you are stupid.

We need a change in the White House. Rachel wants her son home. The other hostages must be released, too. Joe Biden is dangerously eager to placate Iran, including delivering billions of dollars that are funding the war against Israel. He doesn't care.
