Some of President Biden's big donors are funding pro-Hamas demonstrations on American college campuses. Surprised?

Politico thinks voters are dumb, so we'll pretend to be surprised. Specifically, names like Soros, Gates, Rockefeller, and Pritzker popped up when Politico did a little digging. The premise of the article is that well-funded big donor money sometimes ends up supporting groups that don't necessarily align with a donor's beliefs. 

“There may be times where a donor may give to an organization or candidate that sometimes does something that clashes with their personal view,” said Kevin Conlon, who has been a bundler for Biden as well as for Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, and now advises nonprofits.

Malarkey. That is a very Clintonian statement. Wealthy Democrats know what is going on and where their money is going. You'll notice that the article wasn't about wealthy Republicans funding campus chaos and anti-Israel hatred.

Socialist billionaire George Soros is a longtime Democrat donor who is frequently singled out by Republicans as the source of funding nefarious political actions. His money only goes to Democrats, who mock Republicans for pointing fingers at Soros. The truth is that Soros and other big Democrat donors are very involved in funding organizations like the Tides Foundation. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation also funds the Tides Foundation.

Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow are two groups that are funded by the Tides Foundation. Those groups are behind the demonstrations at Colombia University and other schools. Jewish Voice for Peace makes no secret about the fact that it is anti-Zionist. 

David Rockefeller, Jr. sits on the board of he Rockefeller Brothers Fund. That fund gave $300,000 to the Tides Foundation in 2022. The Tides Foundation has given about $500,000 to Jewish Voice for Peace over the last five years.

Heirs to the Hyatt Hotel empire, Susan and Nick Pritzker, give big bucks to Democrat campaigns. They donated $6,000 to the Biden Victory Fund a few months ago. They gave more than $300,000 to the 2020 campaign. If the Pritzker name sounds familiar it is because Illinois Governor JB Pritzker is a member of the family. Governor Pritzker is a close ally of Biden's and a frequent surrogate for the Biden campaign. Politico describes Pritzker as the Democrats' secret weapon. 

As the demonstrations go on, they are drawing more attention from the media. It's graduation time and many ceremonies are expected to be interrupted. It happened at the University of Michigan over the weekend. People have noticed that the tents used in encampments are identical and are not cheap pup tents. The tents look like merchandise from REI or other upscale outdoor equipment retailers. It became clear that someone was funding the protesters. As with everything, follow the money. 

Some Democrat donors are beginning to ask questions.

“Why [is the Rockefeller Fund] giving significant grants to Jewish Voice for Peace, [which] blamed the horrific Oct. 7 attacks on Israel and the United States rather than Hamas?” said Elisha Wiesel, a Democratic donor who chairs the Elie Wiesel Foundation, an organization that supports anti-genocide work.

Jewish Voice for Peace was behind the protest during the big fundraiser for Biden's re-election campaign at Radio City Hall with former presidents Clinton and Obama. Immediately after the massacres in Israel on October 7, 2023, by Hamas, Jewish Voice for Peace released a statement that said, “the source of all this violence” was “Israeli apartheid and occupation — and United States complicity in that oppression.” That aligns with statements from Hamas propaganda. 

The Rockefeller Brothers Fund said it cannot support political activity or campaigns. It is not involved in the political donations of its trustees. It awards grants to groups and claims to not be involved in the activities of grantees. 

“Our grantees in all three portfolios support a broad range of policy ideas—some align with the Biden administration’s agenda and others conflict. This complexity is part and parcel of our nonpartisan work,” said Sarah Edkins, the fund’s communications director, in a statement.

The denials of knowing what groups are doing who receive money from wealthy Democrats are just silly. Billionaires didn't become billionaires without keeping an eye on how their money is spent. These are all Democrats and you can be sure that they monitor that their money isn't going to the other political party. These are all Democrats who use their money to make political and social change. 

The useful idiots participating in college campus protests want to destroy America and wipe out Israel and Jews. This toxicity is the result of far-left Democrats taking over higher education and decades of leftist indoctrination on college campuses. After October 7, an antisemitic movement that had mostly been below the surface rose and began shutting down universities. The leaders of Ivy League schools, and other elite universities were exposed as essentially holding antisemitic beliefs. They are using the cover of the First Amendment. The First Amendment, though, does not include riots, property destruction, or any kind of violence. Leftist Democrats are violent people.

Contrary to Politico's little article exposing the fact that wealthy Democrats are enabling young Marxists to cosplay terrorists in the name of Hamas, it isn't breaking news. We knew. We can connect the dots, thank you very much. Politico is knee-deep into cheerleading for the Biden campaign. Its article is to provide a little cover for them at this time as regular people begin to ask questions.
