10,000 illegal aliens apprehended in 48 hours at southern border, including some bad hombres

Remember when Donald Trump ran for president in 2015 and his top issue was illegal immigration? From the time he rode down the escalator in Trump Tower, he spoke about the problems of an open border. He dared to say that some of the illegal aliens crossing the southern border are bad hombres. So many people lost their minds over that little inconvenient truth.

Since then, he was elected president and secured the southern border. He signed agreements with the Mexican government to allow illegals to remain in Mexico until their asylum claims could be processed. Trump deported illegal aliens. And he detained those that he didn’t immediately expel. Then Joe Biden came into office and made good on a campaign promise of opening up the southern border and letting everyone in. He promised to end deportations. He brought back catch and release. He stuck down all of the policies and agreements concerning the southern border that worked well under Trump because he is determined to be the not-Trump president. The Biden border crisis, therefore, was intentional. It is a humanitarian crisis and a national security crisis.

Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz tweeted that in the last 48 hours, 10,070 apprehensions were made. These included 5 sex offenders, 4 outstanding warrants, and one gang member. There were tens of pounds of drugs confiscated including Fentanyl, Ecstasy, Meth, and Cocaine. Firearms and stolen vehicles were recovered, too. That’s just in the span of 48 hours. Remember those statistics the next time the Biden administration tries to make you believe that the border crisis is lessening and the border is secure. Those are lies.

Border Patrol agents are busily recusing illegal migrants from being stranded in the Rio Grande River and from stash houses.

On Monday, Ortiz tweeted the agents had apprehended 13,588 migrants in the past 72 hours.

Although the numbers represent a two-day span, border agents in Texas have encountered several large groups in recent weeks. The agency considers groups of more than 100 “large groups.”

Also on Monday, agents in El Paso uncovered two stash houses holding 146 migrants in the city’s Lower Valley.
In the Del Rio Sector, agents and local first responders rescued a group of 140 people that became stranded on a small island in the Rio Grande on Monday.

On March 29, 1,000 mostly Venezuelan migrants surrendered to Border Patrol agents in El Paso. They were probably misinformed about current immigration policies in the U.S. and believed they would be let in at specific locations along the border. Information for migrants is spread through social media, often by the cartels exploiting them.

There is a new trend noted in Tijuana that will likely reach the U.S. soon, certainly when Title 42 expires. More and more migrants from Africa are arriving in the city.

“It has been a constant flow,” said Enrique Lucero, head of Tijuana’s Migrant Affairs Office. “It’s due to the political and economic climate that exists in that continent.”

Lucero said most of the migrants are from countries such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ghana and Somalia.

“They are all taking the same route through Brazil, they’ll cross South America and then on to Mexico City and finally Tijuana,” Lucero said.

They all have the same goal – to get to the United States. Last month, the city of Tijuana and the Mexican government launched campaigns to convince migrants to not try and cross into the U.S. but to seek legal pathways, such as using the CBP One program, the online app that schedules appointments for asylum-seekers with the Border Patrol and helps provide entry into the U.S. Most of the outreach is done at shelters, bus stations, and the airport. Many migrants, though, haven’t gotten the message to not come and have paid a guide to get them to the border.

The volume of Africans isn’t as high as it was with Haitians or people from Guatemala or El Salvador, but it is growing and becoming a constant flow.

Illegal migrants are crossing the border from countries all around the world. The Biden administration has launched a war on our national sovereignty and that is dangerous. National security is jeopardized. Drug cartels and human traffickers are in control of parts of the border. They are making millions of dollars off of migrants they are exploiting.

Chief Ortiz posts tweets each week with the statistics from the border. The border crisis is not easing as the administration wants you to think. It will only get worse once Title 42 expires unless DHS gets serious and puts the laws on the books in place. There is no indication that this will happen. Joe Biden and Secretary Mayorkas don’t care. The Biden border crisis is intentional.
