Biden invites anti-police nonbinary drag queen to White House for bill signing ceremony

Joe and Jill Biden are turning the bill signing for the Respect for Marriage Act into quite a to-do at the White House. The legislation replaces previous laws that legally define marriage as between a man and a woman aside from individual state law. States will now be required to recognize other states’ same-sex marriages.

Joe Biden, formerly against gay marriage, has evolved into a supporter and he wants to be clear about that. He inserts the LGBTQ agenda into all that he can when he speaks and his press secretary is a black female lesbian immigrant. He hit the identity box jackpot with her, didn’t he? Karine Jean-Pierre touted the ceremony as a bipartisan celebration that will include musical performances. “Thousands” of people will be celebrating on the South Lawn. Invited guests include “lawmakers, as well as advocates and plaintiffs in marriage equality cases across the country.” Any bets on how many Republican lawmakers will be invited? Maybe those who voted in favor of the bill. Otherwise, I expect some kind of snarky remark aimed at Republicans from President Unity. He usually does that at these things.

The kicker is some of the outside of Capitol Hill people that are on the guest list. Joe and “Dr. Biden” invited some drag queens. One drag queen in particular is notable. Marti Gould Cummings is a non binary drag queen in New York City who performs for children. They are also anti-cop, attacking police online, so that’s another box to check.

Cummings thanked President Biden and first lady Jill Biden and shared an image of the digital invitation in a social media post Monday. Last week, the House passed the legislation, which mandates the federal government recognizes same-sex marriages instates where they are legal, in a 258-169 vote that included 29 Republican votes days after the Senate approved the bill in a 61-36 vote.

“To be a non binary drag artist invited to the White House is something I never imagined would happen,” Cummings tweeted. “Thank you President & Dr. Biden for inviting me to this historic bill signing. Grateful doesn’t begin to express the emotions I feel.”

And, just like that, Cummings locked all of their social media accounts to be in private mode. I guess not everyone was so thrilled for them and commented to the tweet accordingly.

No doubt Cummings is re-thinking some past tweets and taking them out of the public eye.

That one, which referred to a performance for children, has since been deleted.

Cummings is a busy person.

Cummings is a New York City-based “drag artist, television personality and political figure,” according to Cummings’ website. The site adds that Cummings “has been a regular fixture” in the city’s nightlife and regularly performs six shows a week.

Political figure? Yes. Cummings ran for the New York City Council in 2020 with defunding the police as a part of the campaign platform.

“I’m a proud fem queer nonbinary drag artist who wants to defund police & fund education, affordable housing, social work & I’m running for city council along w lot of other queer candidates & we are going to fight for you the people not police unions, not real estate, but for you,” Cummings tweeted on June 28, 2020.

[Police Benevolent Association of the City of New York] are scared whiny and weak,” Cummings said in a June 2020 tweet. “The people will win #DefundPolice.”

“F— the police,” Cummings tweeted on Aug. 24, 2020.

“Yes we want to defund police. Yes we want to abolish ICE. No we won’t settle for anything less and will continue to fight for this to happen,” Cummings added in a tweet later that same day.

Earlier this year, Cummings tweeted support for “ACAB Coffee,” a cafe that theoretically wouldn’t serve police officers. ACAB is an acronym for “all cops are b——.”

“It’s still defund the police and invest in community for me! Funding militarized police over education, housing, mental healthcare, parks, free transportation is mind boggling,” Cummings tweeted in March. “Let’s invest in people!”

You see why the Twitter account is private now, right? Especially before a visit to the White House, though I doubt anyone in the Biden White House would blink an eye at those tweets.

This is further proof that Biden is promoting this kind of grooming for young children. If drag queens want to perform for adult audiences, that fine. I don’t care. A line has to be drawn for children, though. It’s wrong and confusing to young children and not something that should be forced on them by adults (parents, grandparents) too stupid to protect them from inappropriate entertainment.
