Holocaust survivor to AOC: You deserve a Nobel Prize in stupidity

Ed Mosberg, a 93-year-old Holocaust survivor nailed it, if you ask me. He is rightfully offended by the continuing anti-Semitic remarks coming from some Democrats in Congress and he’s had enough of it. During an interview with the New York Post Saturday, he spoke about the conflation Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez uses when she labels detention centers housing illegal aliens as “concentration camps.”

Mosberg thinks AOC should be “removed from Congress” for her stupidity.

“She should be removed from Congress. She’s spreading anti-Semitism, hatred and stupidity,” Mosberg told The Post. “The people on the border aren’t forced to be there — they go there on their own will. If someone doesn’t know the difference, either they’re playing stupid or they just don’t care.”

“Sandy” from the hood, er, the Bronx and Brooklyn, did no favor to the public school system in Yorktown as she posted a rant on Instagram about concentration camps on our southern border. She claimed she isn’t a “bomb-thrower” and doesn’t throw around the words ‘authoritarian’ and ‘fascist’ lightly, though her whole political persona is built on all of that. She has been roundly criticized from the right and the left over her statements. Mr. Mosberg pointed to the obvious which is conveniently omitted by Ms. Ocasio-Cortez and her anti-Semitic squad – the people put into actual concentration camps were not put there because of actions of their own. And no one on the American side of the southern border is executing and murdering illegal aliens in detention camps.

Mosberg, who lost his entire family during the Holocaust and himself survived both the Plaszów and Mauthausen camps, said: “Her statement is evil. It hurts a lot of people. At the concentration camp, we were not free. We were forced there by the Germans who executed and murdered people — there’s no way you can compare.”

Mr. Mosberg was born in Krakow, Poland and witnessed the horrors of the Holocaust during his teenage years. He is President of From the Depths, an education group on the Holocaust. He invited AOC to take a tour of real concentration camps with him to educate herself. He would like to take her to the museum at Auschwitz, where his mother was murdered. He extended the invitation via Facebook. Other members of Congress encouraged AOC to take Mr. Mosberg up on his offer. She declined.

Then, Mr. Mosberg lowered the boom. He said AOC is deserving of a Nobel Prize in stupidity.

“She should be taught a lesson,” he said. “If you’re not there, you will never know what happened. She doesn’t want to learn — she’s looking for excuses. I would like to nominate her for the Nobel Prize in stupidity.”

Mr. Mosberg makes a lot of sense to me.
