I'm honestly not sure who started this trend but it has definitely taken off with a number of people I follow. The trend is simple. It's this statement "That moment as a kid when you realize that you’re definitely straight." And along with that is a video or photo of some very attractive woman, often but not always someone who was on television or in films in the 1970s thru the 1990s. For instance:

I'm sure some feminist out there is going to write terrible things about this trend and that's fine with me. But I think that moment somewhere around ages 11-13 is inevitable and also completely healthy. I guess you could argue that TV and movies have commodified it a bit. Fair enough.
The world may end but until then finding the opposite sex attractive will not. Men will always like to look at Lynda Carter and women will always like to look at Harrison Ford. Anyway, this brought back a lot of memories for me and some long-ago conversations with my fellow 11-year-olds that I definitely wouldn't want to repeat now.
