Remember the Jim Acosta show? That's what many of us used to call Acosta's routine attempts to shout over people at Trump's press conferences.
At one point the White House even pulled his press pass which only helped Acosta make himself the center of attention. But eventually, CNN got tired of him too and when they tried to move his show to midnight he apparently quit.
So Acosta created The Jim Acosta Show which is his own YouTube and Substack based channel where he has revealed his ongoing fixation with President Trump. Last week, he livestreamed all day and night hoping to capture the moment when Trump's name was removed from the Kennedy Center. At one point, around 3 am he compared this moment to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
A former CNN anchor turned YouTube content creator live-streamed for nearly 11 hours from Friday afternoon into early Saturday morning awaiting the removal of President Donald Trump’s name from the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., only to make an absurd comparison that ended in widespread mockery...
Acosta hosted the marathon coverage, which he dubbed a live watch party, on “The Jim Acosta Show” on YouTube.
The coverage mostly featured a live shot of scaffolding, obscured by a tarp, behind which workers toiled to remove Trump’s name from the building.
“This is very much like watching the Berlin Wall coming down,” Acosta said in a strange comparison made around 3:30 a.m.
“It is a sign that mankind, that humankind can stand up against tyranny,” he continued.
Here's Acosta watching history unfold at 3 am:
After livestreaming all day and night trying to see Trump’s name being removed from the Kennedy Center building, Jim Acosta exclaims:

“This is very much like watching the Berlin Wall coming down."
"It is a sign that humankind can stand up against tyranny."
Holy hell. Just… pic.twitter.com/ccHzWXtT48
To be fair, Acosta was only 18 when the wall came down so maybe he doesn't remember it very well. But it was a bit different from removing some letters from a building.
Amplifying the point, Acosta wound up missing the moment when the letters actually came down. He'd gone to bed. That's right. It was such a big deal that he slept through it. But he was back on Sunday "reporting" from the scene.

When he's not staking out the Kennedy Center, Acosta hosts a bunch of left wing nuts like Heather Cox Richardson on his show.
‘Historian’ Heather Cox Richardson tells Jim Acosta:

“It's not really a stretch to say that the same impulse that created the UFC fight on the white House lawn...
...is the impulse that really pushed lynching in the late 19th century."
Acosta nods right along with this batsh*t… pic.twitter.com/dd9aJUR6Mz
Anyway, it's good to know that Acosta is exactly who everyone thought he was, an absurd left-wing activist masquerading as a reporter. CNN should have fired him long before they did.
An unemployed @Acosta reporting for literally no one spending his Saturday night comparing Trump’s name taken off the Kennedy Center to the fall of communism in 1989.

There are no words… https://t.co/lKAjz7AjAe
He literally got married last weekend to PBS's White House correspondent.

And THIS is how he's spending his time? https://t.co/2TucYI7kFM
This is wild.

I can’t imagine having so little going on in my life that I would sit outside a building all day waiting for a name to get removed from it.
Jim Acosta is making an aggressive play to take over as angry blueanon wine mom final boss. Watch out Jennifer Welch. https://t.co/1TPrfbKLts
Let's all not forget that this absolute clown was once chief White House correspondent for alleged "news" organization @CNN which goes a long way towards explaining why no one trusts the national press. https://t.co/uWDg6tmwRS

If there was a Mount Rushmore of journo Douchebaggery, Jim Acosta would be one of the sculptures https://t.co/JvMz7mNSB2
