Ed has already added an update here but there's quite a lot of new video and detail about the Minneapolis shooter so I'm going to collect some of it here.
First, no official source has identified the shooter (as I write this) but police have said he was in his 20s and had no criminal history. Online meanwhile, people have zeroed in on Robin Westman who posted videos showing off an arsenal prior to the attack.
A few things to notice in this clip:
- Two mentions of President Trump. One written on a magazine said "Kill Donald Trump." The other written on his rifle said "Kill Trump Now!" Both messages were written relatively small compared to some of the other things he wrote.
- "Where is your God?" written on another magazine.
- "Why so Queerious?" which is apparently a reference to this dubious piece of music.
- There are also several references to Israel including a smoke bomb on which he wrote "Extra Thicc Jew Gas." Also "Burn Israel" on his rifle and "6 Million Wasn't Enough" on a holster.
Here's an 11 minute video. It's mostly him showing off his weapons.
The alleged Minneapolis shooter uploaded this onto Youtube this morning, no media sources have confirmed the identity and if this is not the individual, they most certainly belong on an FBI watchlist. This individual goes by the name Robin Westman pic.twitter.com/qFyJatNwhz

He left behind a note which reads like a suicide note.

After saying goodbye to his family and friends he writes:
I have wanted this for so long. I am not well. I am not right. I am a sad person haunted by these thoughts that do not go away. I know this is wrong but I can't seem to stop myself. I am severely depressed and have been suicidal for years. Only recently have I lost all hope and decided to perform my final action against this world. I don't want to kneel down for the injustices of this world. I want to die. I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees, constantly in pain.
He goes on to say that he fears he has undiagnosed lung cancer from vaping too much. Then some more comments to his family and it ends with a drawing of an explosion from the muzzle of a gun.
He also has a bunch of other writings. Is this his manifesto or just a diary? I can't tell because he apparently wrote this in Cyrillic alphabet. At least that's what it looks like, I'm no expert. Another clip includes a drawing of what looks like a church floorplan. In the video he points at this page and then stabs it with a knife.
BREAKING: I have saved screenshots and recordings of the video manifesto of the Minnesota Catholic School Shooter Robin Westman that he uploaded to YouTube. Warning, it is disturbing and graphic. In the video, he whispers and hums to himself “I wanna kill kill myself” and stabs… pic.twitter.com/wWcd5nlbA6

People have also dug up a name change form which says Robert Westman wanted to become Robin because he identified as a woman.
Court records confirm that Robert Westman at the time of name change identified as a woman and changed his name to Robin to reflect his new identity as a woman. pic.twitter.com/tZMOUsDuy1

And now the identification is official:
According to KARE 11 investigative reporter A.J. Lagoe, the shooter was 23-year-old Robin, formerly Robert, Westman. Law enforcement sources said Westman grew up in Richfield and that her mother was an employee at Annunciation School.
The NY Post has it too:
Robin Westman, who is in his early 20s, opened fire through the stained glass windows of Annunciation Catholic Church during a celebratory back-to-school Mass filled with children, around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police are investigating whether a series of sick YouTube videos shared on an account hours before the shooting was connected to Westman, law enforcement sources told The Post.
Meanwhile, Mayor Jacob Frey does the standard Democratic thing where he craps all over "thoughts and prayers" for the victims.
🚨 BREAKING: Democrat Mayor of Minneapolis Jacob Frey SLAMS people for saying to "pray" after the Catholic church sho*ting.
— Eric Daugherty (@EricLDaugh) August 27, 2025
"DON'T just say this is about 'thoughts and prayers' right now. These kids were literally PRAYING."
What a WEIRD thing to attack after multiple children… pic.twitter.com/ytVJec7mxJ
This is a pretty repulsive thing to say at this moment before anyone has said anything of the kind really. Frey is following a script developed by Democrats which is designed to make gun control an issue after any shooting. But the way he brings is up here apropos of nothing, as if Christians are heartless fiends is repulsive. He almost seems to be echoing the shooter's message, scrawled on his weapon:
Jacob Frey: Don't just say thoughts and prayers

Robin Westman: Where is Your God

And this person is doing the same.
Prayer is not freaking enough. Prayers does not end school shootings. prayers do not make parents feel safe sending their kids to school. Prayer does not bring these kids back. Enough with the thoughts and prayers.

Some responses.
This kind of rhetoric has become its own kind of empty incantation. https://t.co/Sc9hij3WnM

Some people pray and some people tweet.
Tweets are fine though. Just not prayers. https://t.co/hNBOb6rYrg

Interesting thought experiment:
Ask yourself how an actual demon would respond to Christian children being martyred by a demon-possessed monster. Probably with explicit mockery of God and prayer. Then ask yourself why Psaki’s response is exactly how an actual demon would respond. https://t.co/ZWxlLxlyYv

Anyway, this is obviously not the first shooting of Christian children by a disturbed trans person. At what point will the media start connecting these dots?
I'll probably add some updates below as we get more information.
Update: Photos over time.

A national conversation will now be held. pic.twitter.com/Po3FopKhR8
And Andy Ngo is feeling vindicated in his reporting.
Today’s killing of Christian children at a church in Minneapolis occurred in the context of a surge in far-left trans propaganda encouraging Trantifa and other leftists to take up arms to kill transphobes and “fascists.”

Their targets: Christians and conservatives.
I have been… pic.twitter.com/BtwwMrG6WB
I have been warning and reporting on this phenomenon for years and am called a liar by liberal media, and targeted with death threats by the far-left.
Trans far-left radicals are being encouraged every day to take up arms to legitimize their unfounded paranoia, sociopathy and mental health co-morbidities. pic.twitter.com/hBvK7crgEz

Thanks to my co-blogger David for sending me this clip. I guess people on the left (or in the media, same thing really) think this sounds helpful at this moment but that's not how it sounds to me and a lot of other people. It really sounds like they are saying "Where was your God?"
CNN’s Dana Bash praises Minneapolis Democrat Mayor Jacob Frey for scoffing anyone looking to be in prayer right now: “I mean, he's expressing something that I know you feel and most people feel, which is a combination of sadness, but — but raw rage that forget — forget about… pic.twitter.com/J4gM6DxnEF

More Jacob Frey.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey: "Anybody who is using this as an opportunity to villainize our trans community...has lost their sense of common humanity."

UNBELIEVABLE. pic.twitter.com/bm49RrQHjM
I guess don't hate all trans people because of this vile shooter is a reasonable thing to say, but would Frey be saying the same if the shooter were MAGA? I sort of doubt it.
He’d be saying the same thing about all of MAGA if the shooter had been a Trump supporter, right? RIGHT!? https://t.co/14QNKiTyTB

MSNBC or whatever they are called now says the problem is the 2nd Amendment.
MSNBC guest: Whether you like it or not — the only thing that will stop shootings like the one in MN is taking your guns away.

Meanwhile on the other end of the spectrum, Candace Owens suggests the CIA is at work here.
Just a sick and despicable individual whose brain has been completely fried by conspiracies to the point where she regularly exonerates the actual perpetrators of crimes and violence. pic.twitter.com/775bpNyDtA
