Domestic Terrorism: Two New Arson Attacks at Tesla Dealerships (Update: Bomber Also Fired a Gun)

There are two fresh cases of arson at Tesla locations being investigated today. One happened last last night in Kansas City.

The FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are now working with the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department to investigate the Cybertruck fires at a Tesla dealership late Monday.

Police said an officer spotted a Cybertruck on fire at the Tesla dealership on State Line Road shortly before midnight. The fire spread to a second Cybertruck before Kansas City firefighters could put it out...

The ATF reiterated the police department's finding that the incident is "suspicious in nature."

This person posted video on X which shows a woman in a black dress running away from the scene.

Hopefully the police are looking into that today. This morning there is another arson taking place in Las Vegas. Elon Musk called it terrorism:

There's really no doubt that's what happened here. This is arson to make a political point.

While an investigation is ongoing, the blaze is believed to be deliberately set. Authorities noted that “Communications received information that an individual had set several vehicles on fire in the parking lot and caused damage to the property.” The individual suspected of the attack, however, does not seem to be apprehended yet.

Federal agents are assisting the investigation, with the FBI confirming its involvement to the Review-Journal. As per the FBI, it “has personnel on scene to offer assistance to LVMPD.”

The graffiti left on the Tesla building said "resist" which tells you all you need to know about who is behind this and what motivated them.

More commentary from Musk:

It's insane but there are a lot of really dumb resistance folks out there who keep this going. In fact it is international now. Last week several cars were set on fire in Berlin.

Meanwhile, a suspect in a previous arson here at home has been arrested in Colorado.

Cooper Jo Frederick, a Fort Collins resident, is facing multiple felony charges in connection with the incident on March 7. The Loveland Police Department said Frederick ignited an incendiary device and threw it at the Loveland Tesla building, where it landed between two vehicles.

This is him:

Also, a suspect in the arson of a bunch of Tesla chargers near Boston has been arrested.

Hopefully a long sentence for these guys will result in other would-be arsonists having second thoughts. It could happen but I'm not confident it will. The unhinged left loves to burn things and this trend is probably going to continue for a while.

Have you heard any Democrats (other than Rep. Ro Khanna) calling for it to stop? Neither have I. Isn't that curious.

Update: More from Musk.

A statement from Las Vegas police. The person responsible was caught on video and fired a gun as well as using Molotov cocktails.
