The left-wing extremists who have been disrupting the Columbia campus over the past year are back at it as the new semester begins. Here's a video titled "New Semester" posted by Columbia University Apartheid Divest.
Another post announced a walkout and plans to "disrupt all university function."
The illusion of the elite university has shattered! Following in the footsteps of those before us, we must create our own spaces for liberatory knowledge. As Columbia University and other institutions pump out genocidal imperialist propaganda, we fight normalization by learning the stories of the Palestinian people.
We will disrupt all university function and erode its elite reputation until Columbia divests! There will be no school as usual as long as Columbia funds genocide.
Didn't both sides just agree to a ceasefire? Yes but according to the extremists, "Ceasefire is Not Enough." They are also announcing their intent to disrupt with vandalism.
They also targeted a class on Jewish history for disruption, distributing flyers and filming another propaganda video.
It’s day 1 of Prof. @shilonavi History of Modern Israel @Columbia and masked protestors just barged in to intimidate and disrupt. So much for “academic freedom.”

Welcome to Columbia, 2025! pic.twitter.com/S6GbzKFqut
The disruption is against school policy but also the flyers express support for terrorism.

“Crush Zionism”

One thing these nuts don't lack is a high opinion of themselves. The Free Press recently reported on the "museum" they have set up to celebrate each other. A Jewish student named Shoshana Aufzien toured it without identifying herself.
Aufzien was scrolling through Instagram when she spotted a post from Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD) and two other pro-Palestinian groups, promoting an event at a Columbia literary society, Alpha Delta Phi (ADP)...
As a concerned Jewish student, Aufzien decided to go to the event to see what her peers were up to. What she saw, she said, shocked her. “The only way I can describe it,” she told me, “is a museum of terror.”...
Aufzien moved to the focal point of the room: a pool table covered with tools, such as wrenches, hammers, ropes, and wire cutters—all of which were used by anti-Israel protesters to break in to and occupy Columbia’s Hamilton Hall last April. Pinned next to the hardware was a note that ordered visitors: “DO NOT GET YOUR FINGERPRINTS ON THESE!!”...
Next to the pliers and hammers, Aufzien observed another artifact from the occupation: red headbands stamped with the logo for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP)—a group that the State Department designated as a terrorist organization in 1997.
Vandalism and support for terrorism seem like a step too far but not at Columbia. One of their current goals is to make sure that charges are dropped against the handful of activists who broke into Hamilton Hall using the tools mentioned above. Disciplinary hearings for those students were held last week and a decision on punishment for those students could happen this week. Hopefully the school will not back down now, which would only invite more of the same.
Based on the graffiti, it seems that the protesters want to see the school fail and collapse. They would consider that a win. And because the incoming Trump administration has threatened to take a hard line on this they could get their way if Columbia allows this to continue. Here's Sen. Cruz explaining how Columbia is at the top of that list for having federal funding cut.
Senator @TedCruz says Columbia University could lose federal funding under President Trump.

“The DOJ is going to go after any university that tolerates antisemitic threats of violence, intimidation, and threats directed at Jewish students—and Columbia is right at the top of the… pic.twitter.com/gZovkAwdib
There's only one way out of this for Columbia. They need to crack down on the leftists disrupting the campus and siding with terrorists. Expel everyone involved in the Hamilton Hall takeover and go from there. Anything less will be giving the activists what they want and, with Trump in office, that just won't fly anymore.
