Andrew Tate is out of jail on house arrest. Yesterday, a law firm representing three women claimed they planned to sue Tate for acts that took place up to a decade ago in England.

Three alleged victims of sexual and physical assault by Andrew Tate are pursuing a civil claim for damages against him.

According to the law firm McCue Jury & Partners, the primary aim of the lawsuit is to seek “justice, accountability, and compensation for Tate’s victims”, as well as to encourage “a UK criminal investigation into Tate’s crimes in the hope of his prosecution and conviction in the UK, in addition to the charges he is facing in Romania”.

The three women pursuing the civil proceedings, who are now in their late 20s and early 30s, allege that the offences took place between 2013 and 2016 while Tate was living in the UK.

The women are crowdfunding money to pursue their case in civil court. As mentioned, they are also hoping the civil case leads law enforcement to reexamine the criminal case which was looked at by police back in 2015 but which was finally dropped four years later.

The women’s lawyer, Matt Jury, said: “Their allegations include rape, sexual and physical assaults, including holding guns to women’s heads, strangulations including with belts, allegations of the most awful behaviour towards women.”…

Mr Jury said: “When they went to the police their allegations were not treated seriously, the police didn’t take effective action. The evidence was there.

“We’re aware of the evidence that was provided, it should have been sufficient to warrant proper criminal intent investigation and, in our opinion, for charges to be brought.

Tate’s spokesperson has said he “vehemently” denies the allegations and claimed the women are just seeking money: “By choosing to address the press first before any legal action had been taken, the women in this potential case prove beyond reasonable doubt that they are not seeking accountability or justice, but publicity and monetary compensation.”

I’ve said this before but at some point someone in Romania (or the UK) needs to actually make the case against Tate in court. If you can’t do that then Tate is going to walk away from this even more famous and more popular with his fans than he was before. He’s apparently gained followers on Twitter while he’s been in prison so it’s already trending that direction.

Tate has repeatedly claimed Romanian prosecutors have no evidence and alleged their case is a political conspiracy designed to silence him.

Since his release from police detention, he has gained at least 500,000 followers on Twitter, bringing his total following to upwards of 5 million.

He actually has 6 million followers now so you get the point. Time to make the case if you have one.
