TIm Kaine accepts VP nomination, does a Trump impression

I’m going to tell you up front, dear readers, this was not a particularly strong speech. But what it lacked in personality, interest and gravitas it made up for in length. The entire 30 minute speech is included below for the die-hards, but rather than ask you to sit through all of it I’m just going to present some of the “highlights” in the order they appeared in the speech. First up, here’s Kaine accepting the nomination:

The next moment that garnered some attention was the moment Kaine mentioned Bernie Sanders and the crowd started chanting “Ber-nie! Ber-nie.” Here’s how Kaine handled it:

The last 10+ minutes of the speech was devoted to attacking Trump. Here’s where Kaine rolled out his Trump impression:

This went on for several minutes until Kaine concluded, “Folks, you can not believe one word that comes out of Donald Trump’s mouth.”
