Three Palestinian Terror Suspects Caught at Border

We've been warned about this repeatedly by people ranging from congressional leaders to (amazingly) the Director of the FBI. And now it's happened. Three Palestinian terror suspects were apprehended coming across the southern border this week. A fourth person from Turkey who was on the terror watch list was also taken into custody. I hope you will forgive me if I don't immediately jump to the conclusion that these people were simply coming to America "in search of a better life." Iran funds the terrorists of Hamas in Gaza along with various other places, and we now know that they have been providing funding and support to the pro-Hamas protesters on America's campuses in hopes of spurring violence in our country. Apparently, if they can't brew up enough violence that way, they'll just import some of their own. (NY Post)

Border agents detained three Palestinian migrants who illegally crossed the southern border after they were found to have possible ties to terrorist organizations earlier this month, according to sources.

One of the migrants had “salacious photos” on their phone — including a picture of a masked man holding an AK-47 rifle, federal law enforcement sources said.

In addition to the three Palestinians, federal authorities caught one migrant from Turkey who was also suspected of having ties to terror groups.

All four of the men crossed the border in the San Diego area, turning themselves in when they encountered border officials. The only reason that they were flagged and detained was because they somehow miraculously showed up on the terror watch list and provided their actual names when questioned. CBP is telling reporters that they remain completely overwhelmed in that sector. They have no way to appropriately vet the people they encounter coming across unless they show up on the watch lists. Many have no ID at all and they give false names.

These were just four individuals who happened to turn themselves in, likely unaware that they would show up on a list. How many more have already been released due to a lack of documentation preventing them from being vetted properly? Even worse than that, how many others were among the gotaways who successfully evaded encounters with border officials? The Border Patrol can't tell us because they have no idea.

It seems almost a certainty that at least some of these terrorists from the watch lists that have crossed freely into our country are gathering together out there somewhere and pooling their resources. We saw what they did in Israel on October 7, with their leaders promising to continue such attacks "again and again." They would love to do the same thing in the United States, only on a much grander scale. The total number of illegals freely roaming the country is now well past ten million. Our law enforcement agencies do their best, but there is simply no way that they can keep track of that many people. It's physically impossible. So we don't know who they are, where they are, or what they are plotting.

While hoping against hope that this doesn't happen, let's just say for a moment that the worst-case scenario plays out and some of these terrorists pull off a major attack leading to Americans being killed and significant disruptions to infrastructure taking place. Who is going to wind up being held accountable in the event that something that seems so utterly predictable actually unfolds? Certainly, the terrorists themselves will be to blame. But they wouldn't have had the opportunity if they hadn't been allowed into the country. Will Joe Biden and his border czar Kamala Harris finally have their feet held to the fire? Will the legacy media end their ongoing efforts to ignore these threats and provide cover for Biden and Harris and company? Let's just say I won't be holding my breath.
