'This Isn't a Tinder Date.' You Don't Have to Like Trump to Vote For Him

Despite polls showing what appears to be good news for the GOP in the November elections and Joe Biden's consistently disastrous approval rating across the board, please do not allow yourself to take anything for granted. There are still plenty of people out there who will refuse to vote for Donald Trump despite what they can see going on around the country with their own eyes. This group unfortunately includes a number of Republicans and self-identifying conservatives. At PJ Media this morning, our colleague Stephen Kruiser had several words of caution for the people falling into that latter group. He first points out that there are plenty of folks out there who simply don't like Donald Trump. He gets it. I get it too. But the only path forward toward literally saving the Republic requires Joe Biden to be removed from office. And at least for now, the only available mechanism that will make that happen involves a man who is currently spending four days a week sitting in a New York courtroom fending off a political lawfare attack being launched by the Democrats. For some, that will require setting aside emotions and focusing on the greater good.

As friends and colleagues of mine are fond of saying, Trump broke a lot of people.

People who still call themselves conservatives and/or Republicans who hate Trump so much that they don't want to vote for him are letting their feelings get in the way of the continued existence of the Republic. It really is that simple. All one has to do is look at the damage that has been done to this country by the commies who are running what's left of Joe Biden's brain...

In November we will be voting to try and stop this lunacy. This isn't a Tinder date. We're not looking for a life partner. What we're looking for is getting away from the Biden-Harris threat. Donald Trump is the best option for that. For purposes of dealing with reality, I won't waste time speculating on whether Robert F. Kennedy Jr. can win.

That's really the long and the short of it. We're dealing with a numbers game here and it's a game that the Democrats have mastered in a deadly fashion. If you are one of the people who simply can't stand Trump, that's fine. To a degree, it's understandable. There are things about him that don't drive me wild as well. But America is circling the drain at this point and if Joe Biden (or whoever might replace him between now and November) is given four more years of unbridled power, they will finish the job and drive us down with a plunger.

Again... you don't have to like Donald Trump. As Stephen aptly put it, this isn't a Tinder date. Nobody is asking you to suddenly go out and begin praising him online or put up Trump 2024 yard signs on your lawn. You can continue to criticize him in a public fashion as much as you like. But when the time comes, the nation needs to you show up and vote for him. Or vote early by mail if you prefer, which is something the Democrats have completely mastered. Vote early. Just don't follow that up with the add-on the Democrats have also mastered and "vote often," as we sadly saw in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and Louisiana recently.

If it makes you feel any better, console yourself with the knowledge that if Trump wins, you won't have to go through this again. He can't run for a third term. Despite the dire warnings from the ladies of The View, Trump will not be sticking around for the rest of his life as a dictator. If you somehow survived four years of Joe Biden's policies, we will definitely make it through four year's of Trump's approach to governance.

That approach is needed now more than ever. We have no choice other than to fully close the border and begin deporting illegals as rapidly as the law will allow. The federal government must support the states in beefing up law enforcement's ranks and getting the crime rates back under control. We have to finally force some real cuts in spending and bring down the crippling rates of inflation and price increases we have been seeing, particularly for basic things like groceries and housing. If we fail to do these things, I honestly do not know if the Republic will still be here in any recognizable way by 2028. Donald Trump doesn't have to be your hero, but Joe Biden will definitely continue to be a zero. The choice should be clear.
