Pro-Terror Protesters Attack Police in NYC, Elsewhere

Rather than settling down, the anti-Israel, pro-terrorist protests only seem to be ramping up in intensity. On Saturday, a crowd of more than 5,000 people flooded the streets of the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn. The specific demands being made by some of the speakers went beyond the bounds of what we’ve seen and heard at most previous protests. They showed their true colors and called for the complete dissolution of Israel as a nation. When the NYPD moved in to try to get the streets under control, many of the Hamas supporters got into shoving matches with them and some hurled eggs at the police. A dozen people were arrested, but the jails in New York wouldn’t have been large enough to handle all of the culprits even if the police had enough manpower to wrestle them all to the ground.

At least 5,000 anti-Israeli protesters filled the streets of Bay Ridge Saturday at a rally where they called for the eradication of the Jewish state and demanded the United States withdraw its support of its closest ally in the Middle East.

Around 2 p.m., demonstrators converged on 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue, packing the streets and sidewalk for the “Flood Brooklyn for Palestine” demonstration in one of the largest Arab and Middle Eastern communities in New York City.

“We are calling for full liberation of all of Palestine . . . to every single inch, from river to the sea,” shouted one protester, repeating a refrain used by Hamas terrorists and their anti-Israel backers.

Here’s some of the cop-bashing action captured by PIX-11 News in New York.

One of the screaming women identified Bay Ridge as “Little Palestine” and described the Hamas terrorists as “freedom fighters.” These people have clearly been emboldened by the media coverage of similar protests around the country and they’re no longer even attempting to temper their demands or show any embarrassment over their open antisemitism. They are mimicking the Hamas talking points of “from the river to the sea,” meaning that all of the Jews must be driven into the ocean all of Israel must be turned over the Palestinians so it can become a permanent terror state. Some openly wore swastikas.

Shockingly, one part of this community is represented on the City Council by a Jewish Republican. Needless to say, he was not impressed by the demonstration.

Remember that despite the size of the crowds these Hamas supporters manage to gather, this is a tiny minority of people being amplified by the press. According to the most recent Harris poll, 84% of Americans support Israel over Hamas. The terrorists have been feeding people into the pipeline of illegal aliens flooding into the country and they have been pushing anti-Israel propaganda into the system, with most of the legacy media happily amplifying it for them. I honestly never believed we would live to see the day when Americans would be out in the streets sporting swastikas and calling for the destruction of the Jewish people. Yet here we are. It’s beyond sad.
