Eric Holder has had enough of you peasants asking pesky questions about whether or not he should remain in his job as Attorney General and he’s not going to take it any more. Further, his unique investigative skills as a law enforcement expert have been put to good use and helped him identify where all of these nasty rumors are coming from… the reporters at The Daily Caller.

Embattled Attorney General Eric Holder today demanded The Daily Caller stop publishing articles about the growing calls in Congress for his resignation because of the failed Operation Fast and Furious gun-walking program.

Apparently Holder was finishing up some remarks at the White House this week when one of the DC’s reporters asked him to comment on the growing chorus of calls for him to step down. His reaction was spirited, to say the least.

Holder stepped towards the exit, then turned around, stepped back toward the reporter, and sternly said, “You guys need to — you need to stop this. It’s not an organic thing that’s just happening. You guys are behind it.”

Really? Either Holder is oblivious to much of his surroundings or the Daily Caller has become one heck of a lot more influential in terms of directing the actions of Congress and the entire nation than I’d ever imagined. If they have managed to twist the arms of 51 members of Congress and three presidential candidates to the point where they’ve called for him to step down, they may as well just be running the government at this point. (Say… I wonder if they can do anything about getting me a lower rate on my mortgage?)
