To help students and their families succeed, de Blasio pointed to a 5-point plan, starting with the continued distribution of 240,000 more internet-enabled devices to students who need them by the end of April. The city and its schools will prioritize learning resources for the remainder of the year, in addition to assisting seniors through graduation, before looking ahead to reopening schools in September.
Outside of the city, Gov. Cuomo has closed schools across the state until the end of April.
