Additionally, 37% of all voters now believe it is at least somewhat likely the president will be impeached and removed from office. That’s up three points from a week ago and 18 percentage points since early September.

Thirteen percent (13%) now consider it Very Likely that the president will be removed from office.

Still, the increased support for impeachment in recent weeks has come primarily from Democrats. By an 84% to 8% margin, Nancy Pelosi’s party believe President Trump should be impeached and removed from office. By a 75% to 14% margin, Republicans disagree.

As for Independent voters, 46% favor impeachment and removal while 37% are opposed (see crosstab results).
