Actor Jason Bateman vowed to refuse to work in the state if the “heartbeat” abortion legislation becomes law.

“If the ‘heartbeat bill’ makes it through the court system, I will not work in Georgia, or any other state, that is so disgracefully at odds with women’s rights,” Bateman told The Hollywood Reporter.

The Netflix show, “Ozark,” which Bateman stars in, and the HBO show, “The Outsider,” which he executive produces, are filming in the state.
