Mathew Golsteyn is accused of the premeditated murder of an unarmed Afghan man, who was suspected of making bombs. The former Army Green Beret admitted killing the man in 2010, but his supporters claim that man was “a known enemy combatant.”

No one has been more vocal than Golsteyn’s wife, Julie, who has made numerous television appearances, especially on Fox News, to defend her husband. Millions might have heard her, but she was speaking to only one person — and he heard her.
