“They did nothing to protect Americans from future killings,” Scarborough said on Morning Joe, listing out recent mass shootings that have been met with legislative silence from the U.S. government.

“Donald Trump does nothing, Paul Ryan does nothing, Mitch McConnell does nothing,” Scarborough said.

“They choose to be on the side of the 4% and on the wrong side of the 95% who want common-sense gun safety laws enacted and they hide behind this lie. They hide behind the lie that Americans have a constitutional right to own a military-style weapon. They don’t. The Supreme Court has said they don’t.”
