The administration enlisted NBA veteran Shane Battier to sell health care reform by stressing that athletes are likely to get hurt at some point in their lives.

“It’s important to make sure you also have great health care because you never know when you’re going to take a hit,” the Miami Heat star told reporters on a conference call. “You will probably need treatment of some kind.”

Mr. Battier is the latest in a long line of sports stars and pop culture figures used by this White House to sell its signature health-care reform law. Obamacare’s enrollment period ends March 31 and any American who misses the cut-off must wait until November before being able to sign up.
