White House didn't know about SEAL's book on Bin Laden raid

President Obama and aides didn’t know until this week that a member of Navy SEAL Team 6 had written a book about the bin Laden operation, officials said, and have no idea what it will say.

“I don’t know what’s in it, and would refer you to the Defense Department, since it’s apparently or supposedly written by someone in the military or retired,” said White House spokesman Jay Carney.
