Rep. Charlie Rangel was blunt about his political fortunes and whether President Obama, who has had a difficult relationship with the longtime Hillary Clinton supporter since 2008 – and who the president openly urged to think about his legacy in 2010 – via Capital New York:

“Days before President Barack Obama is set to visit a computer plant in upstate New York, Rep. Charles Rangel is circulating a campaign flier featuring himself with the president, and asking reporters to see if the popular Democratic president supports Rangel’s bid for a 22-term in office.

When asked whether the president was supporting his campaign, the 81-year-old congressman said, ‘God damn, that’s a good question.'”
