The Pusillanimous Slobbering Over Democratic ‘Moderates’

Julian Epstein, a long-time Democratic legal counsellor, has been airing his opinions on Fox News and more recently, in the New York Post. Epstein is frenetically calling for “moderateness,” by which he means getting Republicans and Democrats like himself to join forces against the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

For several months now, Epstein has been railing against weaklings in his party for accommodating the “radicals.” In Friday’s Post, he wrote,

The Democrats, led by invertebrate castratos like Senator Minority leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority leader Hakeem Jeffries, have ducked when asked about the DSA’s plans to destroy the US constitution, nationalize 90% of the economy and decapitate our mechanisms of law and order.

Epstein goes on to warn that “both the Democratic party establishment and the GOP have been flat-footed in their response to the Democratic Socialists.” The solution he proposes is for Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson and all the moderates on the other side to express jointly their disapproval of the “socialists’ nihilistic platform and rampant bigotry.”
