Iran’s Inflation Rate Soars Past 77 Percent

Iran’s economy has plunged deeper into crisis, with the regime’s own Statistics Centre reporting point-to-point inflation hitting 77.2 per cent.

The 12-month rate climbed to 53.9 per cent, and prices for basic necessities surged past 80 per cent.

Cooking oil is up 266 per cent year on year, red meat 175, food 129.8, vehicles 125, and water, electricity and fuel 95.

Iranian households are being crushed by the regime’s economic mismanagement and the cost of its war with Israel and the United States.

Officials are running out of monetary tricks to mask the collapse.

Mahyar Tousi is a political YouTuber running the UK’s most watched online news show. Born in Iran, he came to this country as a child following his mother’s escape from the Iranian regime that resulted in her becoming a political refugee in Britain.

Over the years, Mahyar has dedicated his life to fighting for the values of free markets, free speech and free people. His mission is to protect the British culture, which gave a second chance to him and his family.

This was the first time I'd read specifics on what the people there are suffering, and I imagine he's got a line on much of what's happening in the country. We've heard very little specifically otherwise about conditions there.
