Big New Year Dreaming: Kamala Harris Wants a Trump-Style Comeback

Kamala Harris has launched a brand-new political action committee called Fight for the People. She presents it as a mission-driven effort to travel, speak out, and elect Democrats. I read the announcement twice. I kept waiting for the part where she acknowledged reality. It never arrived.

That moment sums her up pefectly. Kamala treats politics like a vision board exercise. She stacks slogans together, sprinkles in a nervous laugh, and acts as if every failure proves she’s secretly destined for greatness later. Voters didn’t gradually drift away. They sprinted.

This PAC doesn’t read like leadership. It reads like refusal to accept the verdict. Kamala never persuaded, nor was she inspirational. She didn’t connect. So, of course, the next move is to launch something new, slap the word “fight” on top, and hope everyone forgets what already happened. But the stench of great defeat doesn’t disappear just because the logo looks fresh.

And speaking of fresh ideas, Kamala has been wandering around on that book tour like it’s supposed to prove she’s still a force in national politics. The book didn’t reset anything. I mean, who writes a book about how you lost a presidential bid and then expects applause and purchases? The book didn’t make people think, you know what, maybe we misjudged her. It landed with a thud and a polite shrug.

But in classic Kamala fashion, the lesson wasn’t, maybe this isn’t working. The lesson was, let’s level up the delusion. I can’t win a presidential race or sell a narrative people actually want to read. So of course, the next move is to start a PAC. You just need to slap a heroic title on it and pretend it signals destiny instead of denial. You almost have to admire the commitment.
