It’s the White House versus ABC News this week after the network wrongly accused White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt of saying something she definitely did not say.
Although ABC has since corrected the record, the Trump press shop is not pleased.
“While President Trump is focused on eliminating narco-terrorists trying to kill Americans with illicit narcotics,” White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly told me, “the fake news is focused on pushing lies about the administration’s efforts to stop the threat of drugs entering our homeland.”
She added, “Even still, over 70 percent of Americans support the President’s decisive actions against evil drug smugglers because they understand that the President is keeping our country safe by taking on the cartels – just like he promised.”
