Tesla was Europe’s the top-seller of battery-electric vehicle in September, with a volume of 38,028.
It won the monthly title despite a 12 percent decline on the same month last year. Tesla was outsold by Volkswagen brand in August and July after being No. 1 in June.

The U.S. automaker was led by the Model Y, with 25,019 sales, a decline of 9 percent on September 2024.
The Model 3 was the Europe’s No. 2-selling BEV last month, with a volume of of 12,084 units, down 15 percent on the same month last year.
VW brand finished the month at No. 2 ahead of sister brand Skoda, according to preliminary figures from Dataforce representing 98 percent of sales in the European Union, EFTA markets and the U.K.
