Shrimp Basket Cook Goes Above and Beyond for a Loyal Customer

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear an apron and cook your favorite meals.

That’s the case for one cook at the Shrimp Basket on Navy Blvd. in Pensacola.

Cook Donell Stallworth says everyone that walks through the doors is treated like family.

For Stallworth and the staff, there's one customer that stands out. WEAR News is not identifying him for privacy reasons.

Stallworth says when 11 a.m. rolls around, everyone can expect to see this customer standing at the door. He comes in to get his daily cup of gumbo -- made by Stallworth himself.

"It's been the routine for the last 10 years," he said.
