Iranian air defenses were reportedly activated across Tehran once again on Sunday afternoon to intercept projectiles fired from Israel, as local media reported resumed strikes across the Iranian capital.

Simultaneously, strikes were reported in Tabriz and the surrounding region, and explosions were heard in Mehrabad Airport in Tehran.

Some 50 Israeli Air Force fighter jets operated over the skies of Tehran throughout Saturday night, targeting facilities related to Iran's nuclear program, the IDF said on Sunday morning.
